Just like a modern blog, this application presents a combination of information handed down by ancient sources and illustrations drawing on the nuptial scenes that decorate the loutrophoroi in the Acropolis Museum. Its aim is to illuminate all aspects of a wedding in ancient Athens, including its social and ritual dimensions as well as the thoughts and wedding jitters of the couple.
